Witch’s Brew - Bacardi Dragon berry rum, Blue Curacao, Creme de banana, fresh squeezed lime juice, served up in a martini glass rimmed with black sugar.
Black Widow’s Raspberry Martini
Halloween Night Cap - Combine 1/2 oz coffee, 2 oz half & half, and 1 1/2 oz Grand Mariner (or other orange-flavored liquor). Strain into martini glass and garnish with Halloween doughnut hole, seasonal at Dunkin’ Doughnuts. If you haven’t a DD near you, I think some sprinkled rum balls would be pretty quick to make .
Caramel Apple Martini - shake 2 oz Sour Apple Schnapps, 2 oz Butterscotch Schnapps, 1 oz vodka and ice. Pour over caramel candy in martini glass.
Candy Corn Martini - infuse 3/4 c. candy corn with 1 c. vodka for about 3 hours (until bright orange). Shake with 1/4 c. butterscotch schnapps and ice. Pour over a few candy corns in a martini glass. I don’t think my teeth could handle this drink but it looks very festive so I might try it.
The Color-Changing Martini - Chop a cabbage leaf, put in bowl and add boiling water, allowing color to seep into water. Add a tsp. of cabbage water to a martini glass. Add a very small amount of baking soda, until the water turns blue. Add gin and vermouth. When serving, add a chunk of dry ice and the pale blue will change to purple.
Bleeding Heart Martini - swirl 1/2 oz. vermouth around glass and pour out, 2 oz. chilled premium gin, garnish with a skewed pickled baby beet.
