Bleeding Heart Martini - swirl 1/2 oz. vermouth around glass and pour out, 2 oz. chilled premium gin, garnish with a skewed pickled baby beet.
Pumpkin Mojito - Prepare pumpkin syrup (see below). Combine 1/2 tsp lime juice, 1 1/2 oz light rum, and 6-8 mint leaves. Muddle until liquid is light green. Pour in 3 oz. pumpkin syrup, add ice and club soda. (“Wicked” accent is a rubber wristband purchased at Party City.)
How to make Pumpkin Syrup: Combine 1 c sugar, 1 c water, and 1/2 c pumpkin puree in saucepan. Cook over high heat until puree dissolves and mixture boils - about 3-5 minutes. Cool and refrigerate until ready to use.
The Mortica - mix 8 oz St. Germain, 4 oz acai berry juice, 4 oz Absolute Citron vodka, and the juice of one lime in a small pitcher. Strain about 1.5 oz to fill the bottom third of 4 champagne flutes. Rim with black sugar and top with champagne.
Black Widow’s Raspberry Martini
The Cat’s Eye - Mix 1.5 oz Gin, 0.5 oz Dry Vermouth, 0.25 oz Maraschino, 0.25 oz Orange Liquor, and a dash of fresh lemon juice. Stir with ice and drain into cocktail glass. Garnish with cherry.
The Devil’s Skin - prewarm a glass with hot water and discard. Add 1.5 - 2 oz Irish Whiskey, lemon peel, and hot spiced wine. Garnish with citrus peel. (Spiced Wine - in a sauce pan, bring 1 bottle red wine to a simmer. Stir in 3 tbsp brown sugar and a mulling bag filled with with .5 tsp whole allspice, 05 tsp whole cubeb or black pepper, .5 stick of cinnamon, and 1 bay leaf. Remove the bag of spices, serve hot.)
